82 There is nothing like a period of recovery to kindle hopes for business, expand horizons, and introduce products and solutions. From November 4 to 8, the Sao Paulo Expo center hosts the International Cargo Transport Show – Fenatran - the largest road cargo transport show in Latin America. And it is full to capacity. The 24th edition of Fenatran will occupy 100,000 square meters of floorspace that had been fully booked by more than 600 brands, including manufacturers of trucks, road implements, suppliers of components, equipment, and services in road cargo transport by early April. This selling out months in advance underscores the importance of the show, says Thiago Ferreira, manager of RX Brasil, which organizes Fenatran. “We have worked to make the event even more complete, with content and attractions that will appeal to a qualified audience and generate a lot of business for exhibitors,” he says. In addition to the hundreds of stands, the organizers have prepared multiple, simultaneous attractions, such as panels and talks. For example, the 3rd Forum for Women in Transport and Logistics, and the 7th Forum on Sustainable Transport, among other meetings, are scheduled. At the Fenatran Experience, visitors can take test drives. An estimated 2,500 tests are expected on the circuit. “We expect people from all over Brazil, South America, Central America, and Africa, to take a closer look at new products and solutions and lots of content in other spaces that will showcase the main trends in the market,” says Ferreira. Held every two years, the show is the largest meeting in the sector, generating business, networking opportunities, and experiences. Each new edition has brought together more qualified professionals and the main players in the sector – an event that has become a reference in quality content, whether in physical or online format. At the 23rd edition, held in 2022 and considered the best event, a record 66,000 visitors attended and business worth around R$ 9.5 billion was done, according to the organizer. That was around R$ 1 billion more than the edition in 2019, before the pandemic. New records in sight At a time of improving expectations, the 24th edition of Fenatran is sold out eight months in advance FENATRAN
